Album Notes & Community Reviews
After leaving the baroque-pop collective Honeybus, Dello assembled a group of 'friends' to record this incredibly gentle, melodic, and deeply charming singer-songwriter gem. The arrangements are light, acoustic, and occasionally whimsical, capturing the quintessential British psych-pop sound of the late 60s as it matured into the more structured pop of the 70s. It is a highly regarded, understated treasure of the period's British pop-songwriting craft.
