Album Notes & Community Reviews

The idiosyncratic former Slapp Happy guitarist returns with an incredibly literary and melodic solo album. Blending lush folk-pop instrumentation with subtle sophisti-pop sensibilities, the arrangements serve as an elegant backdrop for Blegvad's dense, surreal wordplay and wry observations. The critically acclaimed release highlighted his reputation as a brilliantly eccentric, intellectual voice in alternative pop.
