Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following his official departure from Kiss, drummer Peter Criss released his first post-band solo album, heavily leaning away from heavy metal aesthetics. 'Out of Control' is a collection of slick, mid-tempo soft rock and heavily orchestrated adult-contemporary ballads. It was a severe commercial failure, alienating much of the original Kiss army while struggling to find a new pop audience.
