Album Notes & Community Reviews

The former Van der Graaf Generator frontman strips back the dense art-rock of his previous work to focus entirely on sparse vocal and keyboard arrangements. Utilizing MIDI sequencers and early samplers to construct a highly minimalist backdrop, Hammill delivers deeply poetic, melancholic reflections on aging and emotional intimacy.
