Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a period of hiatus for Van der Graaf Generator, the album features instrumental contributions from his bandmates, effectively bridging his solo output with his group's avant-garde leanings. The fiercely intimate, emotionally harrowing vocal performances explore themes of isolation and existential dread over sparse piano and acoustic guitar.
