Consequences

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The notoriously prolific former frontman of Van der Graaf Generator delivers his thirty-third solo studio album entirely under his own instrumentation and production. The record features incredibly dense, multi-tracked layers of Hammill's acoustic and electric guitars, notably lacking any percussion or drum programming whatsoever. The resulting soundscape is highly claustrophobic and deeply introspective, providing a sparse foundation for his theatrical, word-heavy lyrical deliveries.
