None of the Above

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran Van der Graaf Generator frontman delivers an incredibly sparse, intensely focused solo effort composed almost entirely of multi-tracked vocals and acoustic guitar. 'None of the Above' largely abandons traditional percussion, allowing Hammill's highly dramatic, poetic vocal delivery to dominate the profoundly atmospheric recording. The result is a challenging, deeply intimate meditation on isolation and identity.
