Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shedding the dense progressive rock of Van der Graaf Generator, Hammill embraced raw drum machines and DIY aesthetics on 'The Future Now'. His intense, theatrical vocal delivery and jagged songwriting aligned him surprisingly closely with the contemporary post-punk vanguard.
