Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following massive commercial success in the United States, the former Bauhaus frontman ventured into more sophisticated and eclectic territory. 'Holy Smoke' incorporates Middle Eastern percussion elements and refined pop sensibilities, showcasing his resonant baritone across diverse arrangements. The record features notable backing vocals and production polish, distancing him further from his strictly gothic origins.
