Album Notes & Community Reviews

Taking its title from its Warner Bros. catalog number, 'Album 1700' achieved enduring success thanks to its inclusion of John Denver's 'Leaving on a Jet Plane'. Releasing during a turbulent cultural shift, the folk trio supplemented their pristine acoustic harmonies with subtle orchestral and electric embellishments. The record reaffirmed their commercial vitality while addressing themes of social consciousness and romantic longing.
