Impermanence

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The solo debut from The Antlers frontman was written and recorded in upstate New York following a period of temporary hearing loss and vocal impairment. Stripped down to minimalist guitar picking and delicate vocal runs, the project explores themes of healing, silence, and mortality. The tracking deliberately emphasizes spacious acoustic arrangements to accommodate the intimate nature of the songwriting.
