Following his acrimonious departure from The Wailers, Peter Tosh launched his solo career with an uncompromising, fiercely political roots reggae masterpiece. Bolstered by its iconic, marijuana-championing title track, 'Legalize It' is an incredibly warm, deeply rhythmic album that perfectly balances highly spiritual, beautifully mellow summer grooves with militant Rastafarian consciousness.
