Sung entirely in Italian with lyrics provided by Gianfranco Manfredi, 'Passpartù' marks a conscious shift for the progressive rock giants toward accessible, Mediterranean-flavored pop structures. The acoustic-driven production alienated some purists but successfully adapted the band to the changing commercial climate of the late seventies.
