The enigmatic Japanese avant-garde vocalist traveled to Conny Plank's studio to collaborate with an incredible assembly of Krautrock and post-punk luminaries, including Jaki Liebezeit and Alexander Hacke. 'Our Likeness' frames her haunting, detached vocal performances within stark, minimalist rhythmic frameworks and brooding industrial-tinged soundscapes. The album is a brilliantly tense, surreal masterclass in international experimental rock cross-pollination.
