...But Seriously

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning away from the heavily synthesized dance-pop of 'No Jacket Required', Phil Collins opted for a more organic, socially conscious approach to cap off the decade. '...But Seriously' addresses issues like homelessness and political strife alongside his trademark personal ballads, utilizing expanded live instrumentation and prominent horn sections. The record was an immediate commercial juggernaut, driven by ubiquitous singles like 'Another Day in Paradise'.
