Album Notes & Community Reviews

The first of three collaborations between the English synthesist and the Egyptian percussionist blends traditional Egyptian dance rhythms with contemporary electronics. Ramzy had come to wide attention playing on Peter Gabriel's 'Passion' music and with Page and Plant's 'No Quarter' project, and Thornton built the tracks around his tabla and duf playing.
