Album Notes & Community Reviews

This recording captures the uncompromising brilliance of the leading figure of the post-war classical avant-garde conducting his own compositions with the Ensemble InterContemporain. The album features 'Rituel in memoriam Bruno Maderna', a spatial masterpiece utilizing multiple orchestral groups, alongside the dizzyingly complex serialist work 'Eclat/Multiples'. It serves as an essential document of uncompromising, highly intellectual modern classical music.
