Album Notes & Community Reviews
What began as a solo album for legendary session bassist Pino Palladino morphed into a deeply exploratory collaborative project with visionary producer and guitarist Blake Mills. The instrumental record fuses West African rhythms, highly experimental studio techniques, and expansive jazz arrangements into a wholly singular sonic landscape. It highlights the virtuosic interplay between the core duo and a cast of elite contemporary jazz musicians.
