Album Notes & Community Reviews
Co-produced alongside metal pioneer Lydia Lunch and metal producer Arthur Rizk, 'Why Love Now' is a dense and highly confrontational statement from Allentown-based noise-rock outfit Pissed Jeans. The album is an uncompromising, sludge-infused post-hardcore assault that directly targets contemporary gender dynamics, corporate office dread, and everyday human absurdities. Backed by heavy, screeching guitar riffs, Matt Korvette's aggressive and sarcastic vocal deliveries manage to feel both misanthropic and deeply therapeutic.
