Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping away from abrasive guitar rock, PJ Harvey heavily integrates electronic trip-hop and downtempo textures into 'Is This Desire?'. The album is intensely nocturnal, lonely, and melancholic, characterized by cold drum loops and somber, character-driven lyrical vignettes.
