Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating firmly within the classic Warp Records canon, the British electronic duo expertly balanced complex, jittery rhythmic programming with profound melodic warmth. 'Double Figure' avoids the cold, academic sterility of many IDM peers, utilizing playful synthesizer lines and bouncy, syncopated breakbeats to craft an engaging, almost cinematic atmosphere. It remains a highly accessible and deeply textured highlight of early 2000s left-field electronic music.
