Album Notes & Community Reviews
Hailing from New York, Plum Nelly injected highly ambitious, progressive structures into their gritty hard rock foundation. 'Deceptive Lines' is marked by tight, frantic rhythm sections, soaring multi-part vocal harmonies, and complex tempo shifts that defied typical commercial rock radio formats. The band earned a formidable live reputation but struggled to translate their intricate sound into broader mainstream success.
