Perry Farrell's post-Jane's Addiction outfit retreated to Fiji and Bali, heavily infusing their sophomore effort with remarkably serene, tropical psychedelia. The aggressively weird, abrasive elements of their debut are largely smoothed out, replaced by gentle acoustic strumming, ambient synthesizers, and sweeping, aquatic atmospheres. It features notable guest appearances from figures ranging from Mike Watt to legendary guitarist Dave Navarro.
