Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'Nurture', Porter Robinson pivots from large-scale electronics to a deeply personal and organic sound defined by a blend of delicate piano, lush acoustic instrumentation, and intricate digital production. The songs prominently feature his own raw and digitally pitch-shifted vocals, candidly exploring his years-long creative and emotional struggles. Ultimately, the album finds catharsis in themes of self-acceptance, the beauty of the natural world, and perseverance.
