Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed debut full-length from the Guadalajara band, 'Atemahawke' is a landmark of 2000s Mexican indie rock. The album is a wildly creative and theatrical journey, blending surrealist lyrics with an eclectic sound that moves between energetic art-rock and atmospheric neo-psychedelia. Led by the distinctive and highly emotive vocals of original frontman Juan Son, the record established Porter as one of the most unique and important bands in Latin America.
