Moctezuma

Album Notes & Community Reviews

A landmark album for the band, 'Moctezuma' was their first full-length with new vocalist David Velasco and marked a major artistic evolution. It's a highly ambitious concept album that draws heavily from pre-hispanic Mexican history and mythology, particularly the Aztec empire. The record masterfully blends their art-rock and post-rock sensibilities with indigenous instrumentation and rhythms, resulting in a critically acclaimed and culturally significant work.
