Album Notes & Community Reviews

A fascinating collaboration within the Danish music scene, this album pairs the expressive, theatrical vocals of folk icon Povl Dissing with the heavy, jazz-inflected progressive rock of Burnin Red Ivanhoe[cite: 1]. The project masterfully bridges the gap between traditional storytelling and complex, electric art-rock instrumentation[cite: 1]. It stands as a unique, highly regarded milestone that pushed the boundaries of Scandinavian folk-rock[cite: 1].
