Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from an extended studio absence, the legendary British progressive group returns with a surprisingly sturdy, well-crafted collection of modern rock. Led primarily by Gary Brooker's commanding piano and distinctive, soulful vocals, the record avoids excessive technicality in favor of concise, blues-tinged songwriting and elegant orchestration. It serves as a dignified, highly melodic late-career resurgence for the 1970s icons.
