Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length from the New York trio forcefully bridges the gap between the city's visceral hardcore scene and the speed of thrash metal. Characterized by Tommy Victor's jagged riffs and a raw, self-produced sound, the record captures the intense aggression of their CBGB-era live shows. It laid the rhythmic foundation for the groove metal evolution that the band would help pioneer in the 1990s.
