Album Notes & Community Reviews

As a cornerstone of the Uruguayan rock movement, this debut forcefully merges heavy Hammond organ riffs and aggressive drumming with distinctly South American melodic phrasing. The politically charged lyricism subtly protested the impending civic-military dictatorship, embedded within explosive, improvisational song structures. It is widely considered one of the most important and influential progressive rock artifacts to emerge from South America.
