Album Notes & Community Reviews

The San Diego progressive metal pioneers noticeably streamlined their wildly eccentric, complex sound into more concise, groove-oriented structures on their final 1990s release. Devon Graves's distinctive flute interludes and soaring vocals weave through dark, heavy, and occasionally psychedelic riffing. Following the album's cycle, the band entered an extended, multi-decade hiatus, capping off their critically revered underground run.
