Album Notes & Community Reviews
The legendary hip-hop pioneers return with their thirteenth studio album, demonstrating a surprisingly contemporary, highly energetic approach to political rap. 'Man Plans God Laughs' noticeably streamlines their classic, sample-heavy 'Bomb Squad' production, incorporating prominent synthesizers and modern trap rhythms beneath Chuck D's commanding vocal delivery. The record is a fiercely political, fiercely rhythmic, and deeply conscious examination of the modern sociopolitical landscape.
