Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by T Bone Burnett, this ambitious effort sees the acoustic quintet further expanding the parameters of contemporary bluegrass. 'The Phosphorescent Blues' actively weaves complex, post-minimalist structures and lush vocal harmonies into highly technical acoustic instrumentation. Thematically, the album functions as a sophisticated, sentimental meditation on modern technological isolation and the enduring necessity of human connection.
