DAYTONA

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a creative high point for both artist and producer, 'DAYTONA' is a concise seven-track opus that pairs Pusha T's sharp, intricate lyricism centered on drug-trade narratives with Kanye West's minimalist and sample-heavy production. The album's focused brevity and raw, luxurious sound earned widespread critical acclaim, distinguishing it from the longer, more bloated projects of its era. As the inaugural release of the 2018 "Wyoming Sessions," its impact was amplified by a high-profile feud with Drake and a controversial album cover, cementing its status as a landmark hip-hop release of the 2010s.
