Album Notes & Community Reviews

A vital document of the Washington D.C. underground's evolution, this debut album brilliantly married the angular, start-stop precision of math rock with the kinetic energy of dance-punk. The band features highly syncopated rhythms, traded vocal yelps, and tightly wound guitar interplay that redefined the modern Dischord Records aesthetic.
