Album Notes & Community Reviews

Heavily reliant on lush, orchestral funk and soul samples, 'The 5th Exotic' is a remarkably sophisticated debut of instrumental breakbeat culture. The British producer layers intricate, jazzy instrumentation over hypnotic, repetitive hip-hop grooves to create a deeply atmospheric, rain-soaked downtempo experience.
