Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pivoting away from the raw hip-hop of her debut, Queen Latifah embraced a slicker, more melodic sound heavily influenced by R&B, dancehall, and new jack swing. 'Nature of a Sista'' highlights her commanding vocal versatility and conscious lyricism, prominently featuring the uplifting crossover anthem 'Fly Girl'.
