Album Notes & Community Reviews
Partnering an eccentric Detroit wordsmith with an Oakland-based pianist and producer, 'Innocent Country' provides a meditative, lo-fi backdrop for deeply existential musings. The collaboration pairs lackadaisical jazz loops with sharply observational, often pessimistic lyricism that dissects the human condition.
