Album Notes & Community Reviews

'In Blissful Company' introduced Quintessence's fusion of psychedelic rock, Indian devotional themes, and extended communal performance. The group emerged from London's Ladbroke Grove counterculture and became associated with spiritualized festival-era rock. The album's modal structures and mantra-like passages distinguish it from more blues-based British psych.
