Album Notes & Community Reviews

Bolstered by the addition of second guitarist Bruce Bouillet and future Judas Priest drummer Scott Travis, the band elevated their intense shred-metal focus. 'Second Heat' boasts harmonized, neoclassical guitar sweeps executed at dizzying speeds, paired with accessible, glam-tinged heavy metal vocal hooks. It is widely considered a benchmark release for technical guitar musicianship on the legendary Shrapnel label.
