Album Notes & Community Reviews
The third Racer X album and the band's first after reforming, 'Technical Difficulties' is a benchmark of speed metal virtuosity. It reunited every original member except guitarist Bruce Bouillet, sidelined by carpal tunnel syndrome, and its instrumental title track became a standard reference for Paul Gilbert's string-skipping technique, with drummer Scott Travis simultaneously holding the same post in Judas Priest.
