Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded across multiple international studios including locations in Paris, London, and New Orleans, the Algerian artist fuses traditional North African vocal styles with aggressive western instrumentation. 'Made in Medina' pairs driving techno sequences and heavily distorted rock guitars with rhythmic lutes and darbukas. The album stands as a definitive, high-energy statement of trans-cultural worldbeat.
