Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Philadelphia-based project fronted by Sam Cook-Parrott perfects their incredibly charming, wildly energetic brand of lo-fi power pop on their sophomore album. 'Torch Song' packs an astonishing number of incredibly catchy, fuzzed-out guitar hooks and deeply romantic, wonderfully sincere vocal performances into its brief runtime. It serves as a brilliantly melodic, profoundly bittersweet, and beautifully unpretentious indie-pop gem.
