Album Notes & Community Reviews

This Prestige Records session pairs Roland Kirk's multi-instrumental woodwind approach with 'Brother' Jack McDuff's Hammond organ. The date resulted in a deeply rooted soul jazz record that effectively merged Kirk's idiosyncratic phrasing with the heavy, blues-based grooves characteristic of early 1960s organ trios.
