Long Knives Drawn

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran midwestern emo trio polishes their sound significantly, moving away from frantic time-signatures toward a more direct, highly melodic brand of anthemic indie rock. Caithlin De Marrais' powerful, soaring vocals dominate the complex, interwoven guitar lines, anchoring the deeply emotional, highly literate lyrics detailing fractured relationships. It stands as their most accessible and commercially successful artistic statement.
