Album Notes & Community Reviews

For 'A Sun That Never Sets', the bandleader expands his standard quartet configuration to include his brother, Joseph Alessi, on trombone. The project navigates intricate, syncopated compositions that balance patient, contemplative melodies with angular, unpredictable improvisatory exchanges.
