Album Notes & Community Reviews
Functioning entirely as a solo endeavor, 'Blue Sun' features Ralph Towner overdubbing classical guitar, piano, French horn, and synthesizers. The meticulous layers of instrumentation create a deeply atmospheric, chamber-jazz hybrid that exemplifies the pristine spatial aesthetic of its parent label.
