Album Notes & Community Reviews
Building upon their pioneering hybrid of roots music and punk energy, 'Long Gone Dead' finds the band leaning further into traditional country structures while retaining a jagged edge. The songwriting is characterized by tight vocal harmonies and twangy, driving guitar work that prefigures the alternative country movement. It stands as a vital bridge between the Los Angeles underground and American roots revivalism.
