Album Notes & Community Reviews

Robin Storey continues his deeply hypnotic exploration of heavily synthesized, vaguely ethnic soundscapes on Rapoon's 'The Kirghiz Light'. The album masterfully loops highly obscure vocal samples and intricate tribal percussion completely into thick, suffocating layers of dark ambient drone. It operates perfectly as a deeply cinematic, intensely trance-inducing journey through imaginary, highly mysterious global cultures.
