Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rappin' Hood's solo debut gathered songs Brazilian rap audiences already knew, produced by KL Jay, Parteum and the artist himself, and built on his fusion of rap with samba. 'Sou Negrão', first released in 1998, is remade here with samba singer Leci Brandão, while 'De Repente' pairs him with the repentista duo Caju e Castanha; the album won him the Prêmio Hutúz breakthrough award for 2001.
